Mount Meru Hospital
It has 450 beds and has several clinics. As the health centers are often understaffed, they could really use the extra hand. Volunteers for this project will have to be 18+ years and will have to be enrolled in medical studies. A recommendation letter (preferably), resume and letter of motivation is necessary to apply to this project.
Work departments which are: Surgical, Maternity wards, Pediatric, Dental, Operating theater, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Nursing care, Laboratory molecular (Viral TB diagnosis), Microbiology (Culture and sensitivities and strain) Radiology, Clinical chemistry (body chemistry) Blood bank( type of blood, how to donated blood) and Parasitology
- Volunteer work will vary based on their specialties
- Volunteer duties activities are:
- -Assistant to the main doctor/Bio medical scientist
- -monitor patients
- -measure blood pressure
- -arrange files

- 3 weeks 550 USD
- 4 weeks 675 USD
- 5 weeks 800 USD
- 6 weeks 925 USD
- Minimum is 3 weeks. Extra week: 125 USD per week extra
