Future Star Pre & Primary School
Future Star Nursery and Primary School, located in Kisongo about 22km from Arusha Town, is a new school that opened in January 2024. The majority of the students are from the local community.
School Details
- It has 42 students and 4 teachers.
- Volunteer activities/duties at the school include:
- - Helping teachers with classwork and homework
- - Marking assignments and homework
- - Providing advice on activities to enhance learning
- - Professional teachers are always an asset to help local teachers improve their teaching methods
- - Teaching computer skills to local teachers
- - Typing examinations
- - Participating in an exchange teaching program with local teachers
Duration: 2-12 weeks
Working Hours: 6-7 hours a day, Monday to Friday

- Minimum stay is 3 weeks. Extra week: 125 USD per week
